48Hour Short Film Competition
Saturday, November 16th will be our last “Meet-Up” at the Broadcast HUB Store @ 11am-1pm inside Lenox Mall, on the 2nd floor across from Bloomingdales.
Kingdomwood Christmas 48 Hour Film Competition will occur between Friday, Dec 6th at 19:00 US Eastern Standard Time and Sunday, December 8 at 19:00 US Eastern Standard Time. This is the Official Time Period.
The participating group/team must complete its short film and have fully and successfully transferred it to Film Freeway.com on Sunday at 19:30 US EST. Only works that meet the deadline will be officially part of the competition. All films received on Sunday (on-time and late) will be screened.
B. CREATIVE PROCESS
All creativity must take place during the Official Time Period. Any creative work in advance of the competition weekend is prohibited. Creative work includes, but is not limited to:
· Writing the script
· Costume/Set Design
· Sound Design
· Outputting to video or other media
The only work to begin prior to the Official Time Period is:
· Organizing Crew/ Meet-ups to pick your team
· Organizing Cast
· Securing Equipment
· Scouting/Securing Locations

· KIFF encourages that each team to meet-up within yourselves and to determine each individual roll to be played in the competition; please submit Screenwriters, Actors, Producers, Directors titles no later than Sunday evening, November 17th.
· Registration to participant is $150 per team: Must be in by November 23, 2019. (Roughly $20 each)
· Kingdomwood October 2019 48hours short film Competition award was $500 with medallions.
· Signed film releases, YouTube upload links, and film title must be submitted prior to judgement date.

Kingdomwood would like for all participants to follow the procedures for creating a great short film. The characters, props, and verbiage are necessary to be in the film and it will be provided prior to Dec. 6that the competition’s kick-off at Belmont Place, Smyrna, GA.

On December 13th, films will be screened at First Christian Church of Atlanta. Invites extended.
On December 14th, the winners of the Kingdomwood Christmas 48HRS short films challenge will be announced and awarded.

This year Kingdomwood Christmas will be our 1st time celebrating a faith-based film message about LOVE for Christ, Couples, Families and Children. Kingdomwood is looking for films that will uplift and heal our spirits during holidays. We love films that will ‘Reach ‘Teach and ‘Inspire our life and impact our communities during times such as these. Let’s celebrate this season with LOVE and together we can bring happiness and cheers to all.
