Saturday, March 21st will be our first “Meet-Up” at the First Christian Church Atlanta @ 3-5pm inside in Tucker Ga.
Kingdomwood Spring 48 Hour Film Competition will occur between Friday-Sunday in the month of April 2020.
The participating group/team must complete its short film, and have it fully and successfully submitted to Film Freeway.com on Sunday at 19:30 US EST. Only works that meet the deadline will be officially part of the competition. All films received on Sunday (on-time and late) will be screened. (Please add full credits to each short film submissions.)


All creativity must take place during the Official Time Period. Any creative work in advance of the competition weekend is prohibited. Creative work includes, but is not limited to:

  • Writing the script
  • Rehearsing
  • Costume/Set Design
  • Shooting
  • Editing
  • Sound Design
  • Rendering
  • Outputting to video or other media


The only work to begin prior to the Official Time Period is:

  • Organizing Crew/ Meet-ups to pick your team
  • Organizing Cast
  • Securing Equipment
  • Scouting/Securing Locations

 Timeframe Requirements:  

  • KIFF encourages that each team to meet-up within yourselves and to determine each individual roll to be played in the competition; 

            please submit Screenwriters, Actors, Producers, Directors titles no later than by the 2ndmeet-up meeting.

  • Registration to participant is $50 per person. However, if you are a Kingdomwood Current Member your discount registration is $35 person. Must be in by April 3, 2020. 


In 2019 Kingdomwood’s 48hours short film competition award was $500 with medallions.Signed film releases, YouTube upload links, and film title, must be submitted prior to judgement date. 

Please click on Kingdomwood’s Film Freeway account at www.filmfreeway.com to receive updated messages and be able to upload your film on the last hour of the 48hour competition.Films will be screened at First Christian Church of Atlanta. Invites extended.The winners of the Kingdomwood Spring 48HRS short films will be announced and awarded.
